A Foundational Course in Business & Entrepreneurship

EntreprenU is a 4-week coaching program for aspiring entrepreneurs. It’s your roadmap from idea to launch, combining mindset training with practical business skills. Using the EntreprenU Workbook as your guide – “your companion as you turn your ideas into action” – the program walks you step-by-step through launching a real business. In live weekly sessions, expert coaches lead you through exercises to clarify your purpose, build a CEO mindset, and tackle every part of running a venture.

About the Program

EntreprenU delivers real, outcome-driven training and tools. Over four weeks, you gain hands-on experience with each phase of starting a business. Under expert guidance, you’ll work on concrete deliverables – not just theory. For example:

Clarify Your Purpose & Mindset:

Discover your “why” and entrepreneurial identity. Complete introspective exercises (like the “What Type of Entrepreneur Are You?” self-assessment) and learn to shift into a CEO mindset (letting go of perfectionism and adopting daily planning).

Build Your Vision:

Define your long-term goals and values using vision-planning worksheets (mapping out 1, 3, and 5-year goals).

Learn Legal & Structural Foundations:

Choose the right business structure (sole proprietorship, LLC, S-Corp, etc.) and complete a legal setup checklist (register your name, apply for an EIN, open a business bank account, get your domain, etc.).

Develop Your Business Model:

Use a simple canvas to outline what problem you solve, your offer, delivery method, and income streams. Learn from real examples (for instance, a stylist expanding into multiple revenue streams like services, digital products, and merchandise).

Define Your Brand & Audience:

Clarify your brand fundamentals (choose a name, tagline, core values, and tone) and build an ideal customer avatar. Craft a clear brand message (“I help [who] do [what] so they can [outcome] without [pain]”) to communicate your value.

Plan Your Marketing:

Explore low-cost strategies – social media, word-of-mouth, email lists, lead magnets, etc. – and create a content plan. Use the 30-day visibility challenge template to outline daily content ideas.

Set Up Finances & Pricing:

Complete a financial systems checklist (business bank account, bookkeeping, tax plan, pricing system, owner’s pay strategy). Use budgeting worksheets to project startup costs. Learn a pricing formula (factoring time, cost, value, market, and profit) and try a pricing worksheet to set your offers. (For example, a stylist in the course raised prices after calculating profit per hour.)

Final Project & Certificate:

By the end you will have a lean business plan outline ready (business name, what you do, who you serve, how you make money). Graduates earn an EntreprenU certificate of completion, demonstrating your readiness to launch.

Throughout the program, all lessons tie back to practical results. You’ll leave with a personalized business blueprint and actionable skills – not just ideas.

What You’ll Learn

• Week 1 – Mindset & Motivation:

Discover your “why” and entrepreneurial identity. We start with exercises like the “What Type of Entrepreneur Are You?” quiz to understand your working style (creative vs. analytical, solo vs. collaborative, risk tolerance, etc.). You’ll work on adopting a CEO mindset (dropping limiting beliefs like needing permission or perfection) and complete a vision-planning worksheet to set goals for 1, 3, and 5 years.

• Week 2 – Business Foundations & Structure:

Learn how to set up your business the right way. We cover business structures (sole proprietor, LLC, S-Corp, etc.) and walk through a legal checklist (choosing a name, state registration, EIN, bank account, website domain, licenses). You’ll also design your revenue model: service vs. product vs. membership vs. affiliate. A real case study (e.g. “Jada the Stylist” offering salon services, digital products, and goods) shows how multiple income streams work.

• Week 3 – Marketing & Branding:

Build a strong brand and client strategy. Define your business name, tagline, core values, tone, and the profile of your ideal customer. Use the provided brand-message template to articulate how you help customers achieve results. Then, learn practical marketing strategies: social media, email lists, lead magnets, partnerships, etc.. You’ll even plan a 30-day social content schedule to jumpstart your visibility (day-by-day prompts are provided).

• Week 4 – Finances & Pricing:

Get your finances in order and learn to price with confidence. We guide you through setting up your accounting system (banking, bookkeeping software, tax plan) and creating a startup budget. Then dive into pricing: understand all cost and value factors (time, materials, market rates) and fill out a pricing worksheet to find your ideal price. A final project helps you tie everything together into a concise business plan, ensuring your idea is ready to launch.

Live Sessions & Schedule

• Weekly Group Coaching:

Eight (8) 90-minute live sessions (online) – interactive Zoom workshops with a knowledgeable instructor and peers. Each session includes Q&A, breakout activities, and hands-on tasks.

• Workbook-Driven Learning

The EntreprenU Workbook is central to each session. During live classes, you’ll use it to take notes, journal insights, and complete exercises. Between sessions, workbook assignments keep you moving forward on your business.

• Flexible and Supportive

Sessions are recorded in case you miss the live call. You’ll also have access to an online community (optional) for feedback and accountability. Our approach is structured but flexible, so you can implement lessons at your own pace throughout the week.
